Buyer Beware - Poor Quality and Service

Verylittle to like unfortunately- the photo’s are misleading, and fail to show how poorly cleaning is done, how the plumbing does not work properly and how difficult it is to het to the property with a car. At best, the description of a “stylish department” is misleading, if not simply dishonest.

- None of the toilets worked properly and the owner could only be bothered to get plumbers out the end of the second day after our request to attend. never good to find previous guests’ “presents” because toilets have back-pressure and don’t flush properly. - No cupboards, drawers or mirrors in the second bedroom, so you will live from your suitcase. - Above eye level, the apartment has not been cleaned for months and a visible layer of dust could be seen - Bathroom in second bedroom is mouldy and grout inbetween tiles have turned black in spots - Shower in main bedroom was clogged and we had to clean out ~ 6 months worth of grime, gunk and hairballs before the plumbers pitched up. also has problems flushing properly. - kitchen is poorly kitted, with only a mix of old left-over pots, pans, cutlery and plates available, most of which are chipped and were still dirty when we arrived. - kitchen tap were broken, making for difficult use all round - Couches in TV room are torn - “Smart TV” has no Sky or something similar, so generally useless as TV if you don’t have your own subscription services. - Outsides of windows, sliding doors and patio furniture were so dirty, you could visibly write the word “dirty” on them. and this after you could only enter after 16:30 to enable cleaning of the property. Haven’t been cleaned for 6 months? - Found discarded women’s underwear on the patio on arrival, and discarded men’s underwear in the main bedroom cupboards.

Good central location, albeit a bit steep if walking up from the town centre. Spacious rooms. Clean. Quiet. Good WiFi. Adequate bed linen and towels. Good accessible car parking space.

Confusing instructions for key access - main entrance is on 1st floor, same level as car park but for this key safe one has to go down to the ground floor entrance. A bit more of handwash, perhaps? And shower or bath supplies? Clear instructions on where / which garbage bin to leave the garbage upon departure were missing.

Überwiegend modern eingerichtetes und sauberes Apartment mit Außenterrasse. Sehr ruhige Lage in einem Wohnkomplex (etwas renovierungsbedürftige Baustruktur) mit ca. 200 m Entfernung zum wunderschönen Naturhafen. Pub ob the Year 2025 (Cornwall Award) ebenfalls nur 200 Meter mit herrlicher Aussicht. Parkplatz dem Apartment zugeordnet.

Ein Bett der Einzelbetten im zweiten Schlafzimmer war fast auseinandergefallen. Schrauben im Rahmen fehlten und andere Schrauben waren zum Teil nicht mehr festzudrehen. Kein Ansprechpartner vor Ort, alles nur mit telefonischem Kontakt.
