This was a last-minute booking on a budget. The host was very communicative and helpful. We collected the keys at a nearby hotel and were given very clear instructions on how to reach the apartment, which is down a small laneway. It was a fairly good location and not too far from the main street, but it is easy to get lost here. The aircon was great and the bed was fine.
The area was not the nicest, but the apartment felt secure. Unfortunately, it didn't seem as though the apartment had been cleaned at all between the last booking. The sheets were clean from what we could see, but the bathroom was dirty, and the shower had a lot of grime. As we only stayed for one night, I informed the host after we checked out. Although the issue may have been able to be resolved during our stay, it shouldn't be the guests responsibility to arrange for the apartment to be cleaned, it should be clean upon arrival.
