The location of the suite was perfect, close to the beach and easy walking distance to downtown. Great restaurants within walking distance and there were parking spots available on the property. The suite was worn but functional.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, very very hard and there were no mattress covers available to improve the mattress feel. Secondly, there is a persistent sewer odor in the suite that was quite annoying at times.

Location was excellent, close to all amenities, nice sea view from the balcony
When we arrived at Faro airport we tried contact hosts, slow to respond and then would not give us directions until holding fee plus city tax was paid upfront( which we knew nothing about),
We then had such difficulty locating property as it was somewhere in a block of apartments with lots block apartments around it and we found hosts not very helpful which only added to our distress in locating the property,
When we eventually found the property, it was up 6 flights of stairs with no lift available, which for anyone with mobility issues we would not recommend it,
We found the beds to be very uncomfortable, also there was a bad sewage like smell constantly in the bathroom,
