One Week in Świnoujście

This is a clean, well-equipped, and modern apartment, perfect for a family of three. It offers a lovely view from the balcony on the 13th floor. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk to the Promenade and the sea. It is also close to the UBB train station, bike rentals, shops, and Galeria Corso. We had a wonderful time there.

Very poor

POSITIVES: The apartment is located on the top 13th floor of the Platan Tower and it is overlooking the city side ie south direction. (w/o a see view but still a very nice view). Quite convenient location in the city , all groceries nearby and a nice walking distance in a good surrounding from the sea. It it also very well furnished and interior design is very well thought through.

4 MAIN ISSUES 1) Apparently, the apartment was not cleaned for our arrival. The owner called cleaning which happened already after our arrival. We left the room so that the cleaning service can be more efficient. We were with one 2 months old and one 2Y kids and instead of relaxing in the evening after 6H car ride on the first days of our vacation we were going around the building with crying kids... we ultimately got back at c. 21:30 CET.... people are only people and "who does nothing make no mistakes" and the owner or the cleaning service firm might have just mixed dates and this would be completely normal. However, I have reached out to the owner and asked if he would like to undertake any steps to somehow atone my family for such bad opening experience... and have not heard back from him on this topic. 2) Before our arrival, I have had a call with the owner and told him I have a bus type vehicle that is at least 2m in height. Owner told me it is fine and urged me to wire the fee for garage as it was paid on top. Apparently, max height for vehicles was 1,9m... I was worried about car park all stay. Money was returned but I was left alone with the issue w/o support. 2) Apartment is on the top floor and large windows overlooking south direction , therefore in particularly sunny days in summer could get really hot. If you travel on summer be mindful of that. 3) In addition to quite OK twin bed in bedroom the apt. has 2 sofas in the living room. And believe me those sofas are not for human beings to sleep on. Our 2 months old kid slept in the bedroom with us and the other 2Y old unfortunately had to sleep on one of those sofas. When she awakened during the night I was going to calm her down and found myself sleeping large chunk of the night there.... and it is now 1 week since our return and I still feel pain in the back... Tip to the owner, if you put anything to sleep on into the apartment , first sleep on it one full night yourself.
