The location was good with enough restaurants nearby for meals. I was quite impressed by the spacious front entrance making it easy for the driver to pick us up for a private tour, also convenient to call taxis. There was a stop for the Hop On Hop Off sightseeing bus just right outside the front entrance. The room was quite spacious, had everything we needed: comfortable double bed, desk, sofa.
On our last day, we had to go to Taipei Main Station to pick up our car rental, the hotel staff was very helpful after we got into the taxi, he double checked the precise location of the car rental place to make sure the taxi driver took us to the right place. As seniors, my husband and I really appreciated that extra effort.
There didn't seem to be enough choice of restaurants in the hotel for us to choose our meals. Also we did not book breakfast with our package as we found the price too high.
I didn't realise Regent belongs to the IHG chain, I could've used my IHG membership to book instead of going through Booking. com.

Location is perfect! Just in the city center.
Breakfast not only includes international food but also very local Taiwan food!
The SPA service is unbeatable, best service in town!

I like the size of the room and the water pressure in the shower and the hot water was very nice in the staff were extremely nice
The bed was hard as a rock and not comfortable at all plus, the hotel is kind of out of the way, and not many restaurants near the hotel to choose from. Also, the Japanese restaurant in the basement I could never find it. Pour instructions on how to get there.

Nothing really worth mentioning.
Receptions staff was not so friendly when check-in. He did not made me feel welcome to the Hotel. Restaurant staff were rough and not helpful. They seemed to be annoyed when I tried to understand more of the food and the reservations required. When I brought some mooncakes from the cake shop, they did not come forward to serve you. They just asked you to pay over there. The 2 staff were busy chatting to each others.
