Great space, complimentary drinks, modern and clean. Can't ask for any better
Zero human staff but isn't an issue since check in virtually was smooth. No lift, so we had to lift heavy luggages up the staircases.

Modern. Spotless. Lovely clean wooden structure. Great air conditioning. Plenty of room. Easy check in and check out. Sushi in the fridge every day. We had a car so we drove into town and then hired e bikes to see the Hells of Beppu.
It might be a bit far out of town for some people. It is not manned during the day which some people might not like.

Location was close to tourist attractions and restaurants. Parking very convenient. Very spacious room.
No elevator to second floor in Bldg B.

Breakfast for the following morning was just a cold sandwich left in the fridge the night before.
There was no pack for lunch and towels available that was seen on YouTube videos that was promoting the hotel. That was one of the reasons we chose this hotel because of the great service which we didn't get.
There was no phone available to call for a taxi and when we told the staff we didn't have a phone to call for a taxi the hotel didn't render any assistance.
No one greeted us when we arrive.
Felt unloved!
