Carla and Steve are are lovely friendly couple, We wanted for nothing in our room and even gave Margaret a box of chocolates when they found out it was her Birthday a lovely touch, We had room 3 with lovely sea views and looked straight across the square to the comings and goings of the Grand Hotel The Serenity is in a perfect location only 5 minutes walk to all the restaurants, cafes and bars you could possibly want, Would definitely stay there again.
Just a suggestion to lengthen the chain pulls on the window blinds, I had no problem at 6'1" but Margaret couldn't reach them otherwise perfect for us

I don’t normally write reviews but this place deserves one. The host was lovely, he couldn’t do enough for you. I ask a lot of questions and he didn’t mind at all. The rooms were very clean and cosy. The teas, coffees and hot chocolate sachets and toilet rolls were replenished daily, they even provided bottled water. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and they had extras available like cereals, toast, juice etc. something for everyone. The breakfast room was very nicely decorated and had a real log fire. Very cosy and comfortable. Perfect location, overlooking south bay.
I would have loved a little fridge but you can’t have everything lol.
