Beautiful property and full of character. Industry style property throughout leaning on its past, and they have done a fantastic job. The location is superb and an easy walk to main of the main Astoria place of interest and local dining/breweries. Outdoor fire pit a lovely touch and view area for the sea lions is amazing and so unique. The rooms are fab and shower is nice and hot and powerful. We used the location on the boardwalk for an early morning run - the town is full of runners if that’s your thing. Great little Italian restaurant a few minutes walk away - Fede - is well worth dining at whilst in Astoria. We were bothered by sealion noise but they have ear plugs and a noise machine in the rooms should they be needed. We didn’t use them.
We do not drink alcohol, and although it was a lovely touch to be offered a complimentary glass of wine on arrival, it would have been nice to have been offered an alternative to the alcoholic beverage as an arrival drink. With nothing it feels like you’re missing out a little compared to other guests.

Very unique experience. The amenities were great. So glad I upgraded and did the water side balcony
I woke up during the night thinking someone was moving furniture. It’s the hotel moving on the pier that causes noise.

The location on the boardwalk in the heart of town. We like their deck.
Mattress is back hurting soft. No sound proofing with noisy neighbors. Staff seemed like they were phoning it in—maybe it’s hard to get employees in Astoria—we saw lots of help wanted signs. The person who checked us in goofed up our credit card necessitating several calls from Visa over two days. Noisy machines in the lobby. Seemed over priced for the lack of quiet and comfort. Hot with no cross ventilation or AC.
