About this apartment rental
This "house within a house" (Porzione di Casa), which underwent a complete renovation in 2020, is located in the quiet alleys above Dolceacqua’s historic center and offers a breathtaking view of Castello Doria, a landmark of this medieval town.
Piazza Garibaldi, with its shops, cafés, and restaurants, is just a few minutes’ walk away. You can park in a private spot nearby or in a free public parking lot just a few minutes from the house.
“La Terrazza” spans three floors. The lower floor features the entryway with a coat closet, a shower room with a window, and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen-living room. On the middle floor, the sleeping area, there are two beautiful bedrooms with double beds—160 cm and 180 cm wide. The larger room has a cozy sitting area with a flat-screen TV. From the smaller room, you can enjoy the view of the Castello. On this floor, there is also another shower room with a bidet and a window.
On the top floor, the converted attic, you’ll find a very spacious living room with a ceiling height of 3.50 m. Here, too, you’ll find a flat-screen TV, and you can relax by the crackling fireplace. For your convenience, the living room also features a built-in kitchenette with a refrigerator. From here, you can step out onto the lovingly landscaped, sunny, and furnished rooftop terrace, which invites you to linger.
Due to its stairs, “La Terrazza” is not suitable for small children under 5 years of age.

The agent, Daniela, for the host is extraordinarily efficient. The apartment is meticulous. Only beware of the many stairs involved in accessing the property....unless you are in excellent physical condition.

We had a great week at La Terazza and dolceaqua. The place is beautiful and perfect for four people.
The terrace offers a very nice view over the town and Claude Monets painting from dolceaqua.
Its only a 20 minutes drive from the Bordighera beach.
Only negative was the garbage system, very complicated to understand and no instructions at the check in.

The old town house has been beautifully refurbished and is very well equipped. Access via atmospheric old streets, the property is Arranged over 3 floors, kitchen and bathroom on the first floor, 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom on the second, with large living area (with small kitchen area) and roof terrace with wonderful views over the rooftops of the old town to the Dorian castle and church.
Kitchen is really well equipped with utensils and cooking equipment for a self catering stay, there is a dining table in the kitchen too.
Beds are very comfortable and the neighbourhood very peaceful, ensuring a good nights sleep.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the property, having visited the area many times previously.
The private parking is a real bonus in this town where parking can be a challenge.
The only word of caution would be to say that accessing the property for elderly or infirm would prove to be difficult. For those reasonably fit and active, the effort is certainly worth it.

Schönes Häuschen in ligurischer Altstadt, gute Lage (mit dem Auto nicht direkt erreichbar), Strand und Flussbademöglichkeiten in der Nähe, tolle Aussicht von Terrasse.
