We liked the fact it was quiet and fully gated so our dogs were safe at all times. The huge fields were a bonus and the accommodation was lovely with the added bonus of a hot tub. The owner was quick to tell us of local places to visit nearby which were suitable for dogs also.
Nothing. It was everything we were looking for as a getaway with our 2 huge fur babies.

The lodge we were in was lovely and clean. Perfect facilities (although the 3-1 microwave air fryer was a bit confusing to work). Great tv and sound, bed was comfortable. Loved the orange juice and fresh pancakes- the eggs and jam were also a nice touch but were never used by us.
The lack of a full length mirror in the room.
Also the smoke detector went off at around 3:45am unprompted for around 3-5 minutes, but went off again.

Everything - the location was the perfect mix of in the middle of nowhere but then it was 15 minutes from Falkirk.

We loved how modern yet homey it was. Definitely did not want to ever leave. We loved the Jacuzzi bath and hot tub and definitely got good use of both. 10/10 would stay again
The one thing I would say is the skylight above the bed. I personally am not a fan of waking up to very bright lights but each to their own
$$$$
