Unsatisfactory stay

Its conveniently located close to town and shops

Our experience at WEX1 Living, Apartment 517, was highly unsatisfactory and fell significantly below acceptable accommodation standards. From the moment we entered the apartment, we were confronted with a strong, unpleasant, stuffy odour. The apartment was infested with cockroaches, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. Furthermore, the shower drain was blocked, causing the bathroom to flood every time we showered. These conditions were unacceptable and significantly compromised our comfort during the stay. In addition, the apartment was not adequately equipped with blankets and pillows. We had to request additional bedding from the night manager, Richard, but the response was unreasonably delayed, further contributing to our frustration and disappointment. We paid for accommodation with the reasonable expectation that it would be clean, hygienic, properly maintained, and adequately equipped. Unfortunately, WEX1 Living, Apartment 517, failed to meet these basic standards. The condition of the apartment and the lack of timely assistance were unacceptable and do not reflect the level of service guests should expect from paid accommodation. We trust that management will take this complaint seriously, address the maintenance and hygiene issues, and review the standard of guest support provided. Guests should not have to endure these conditions after paying for accommodation that is expected to meet basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Apartment 517 to others unless these issues are properly resolved. Was not overall bad but could use improvement

The pool was quite nice and the wifi was great.

When we arrived we did not receive a tag, which made entering and exciting a bit of a hassle as parking was on the 2nd floor and you had to walk down to reception for them to buzz you in. The room did not have a mop or broom so we could not sweep or mop the toilet floor as the shower was leaking and made the floor wet, leaving a mouldy smell in the bathroom.
