About this villa rental
LA COCOTERAIE TARTANE, waterfront villa rocked by the trade winds in the peaceful fishing village of Tartane, with calm waters protected by the coral reef, located in the heart of the Caravelle. 2 totally independent apartments with all comforts: air-conditioned bedrooms, equipped kitchen, swimming pool and breathtaking view. The lagoon with its islet accessible by kayak and the beach on foot or by paddle!
With a total capacity of 10 people on the 2 levels, you will have:
On the first floor, outside: the large covered terrace, its deck, the spa under the carbet where you can also hang the hammock, the secure infinity pool and its solar shower are the main living areas, to relax and share meals with 10 people. Inside, the living room with sofa, TV and high table, opens onto the fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher (detergent provided). 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, bathroom/shower WC complete the accommodation.
By taking the stairs you will access the huge loft leather living room, high table and fully equipped kitchen including washing machine. A very bright space with breathtaking views of the ocean. The 3 air-conditioned bedrooms are equipped with double bed for the first 2, 2 single beds for the last. Bathroom/shower and 2 toilets complete your accommodation. Outside to relax on the large covered terrace with its second dining area (6 people), outdoor lounge, hammock to enjoy your sea view while watching the frigates dive in search of fresh fish. At your disposal: Wifi, 40'' TV connected on the 2 levels, gas weber BBQ, baby cot and high chair on request. Parking at the back of the villa. Kayaks and paddle are free access. We have several pairs of fins, masks and snorkels available.
We provide linen, bedding, towels, except your beach towels!

To reconnect with the rhythm of the ocean and the tropics, you have to accept and change your landmarks and urban habits. Depending on the season, algae wash up on the beach. Only the sargassum is collected, the others have no smell. They are left behind and are used to fight against erosion. By mixing with the sand, they reinforce the coastline and prevent it from retreating. This is also global warming.
The grocery store of the Vito resort is 250m away, the bakery 800m on the seafront, several supermarkets and a shopping mall are accessible less than 10km away. You will find many restaurants in Tartane. Including Suzy just behind who prepares excellent Creole cuisine. Right next to the house, the fishermen who make their traps during the day, will be your closest neighbors.
SARGASSUM: All the Caribbean islands and the American coasts are exposed to the strandings of these schools of algae that proliferate on the surface off Brazil. Once stranded, they decompose, giving off a foul smell (H2S).

Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cette location, agréable pour tous, pas loin de la plage. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir quand l'occasion se présentera.

Nous avons passé 2 très belles semaines à LaCocoteraie, au moment du carnaval, en famille : 10 personnes, 3 générations, nous avons donc réservé l'intégralité de la villa et y étions parfaitement à notre aise.
Parfaitement conforme à sa description et aux magnifiques photos, elle est parfaitement équipée et agréable à vivre.
Denis a été très disponible pour faciliter notre séjour, de même que Gilles et son délicieux planteur.

Nous sommes restés en famille, à 8, pendant 15 jours dans la villa et on était tous très content de notre séjour, aussi bien les jeunes 25-35 ans que nos parents 60ans. La villa est très bien située, dans un quartier calme avec une vue superbe sur la baie. Le petit bourg de Tartane est agréable, on allait à pied à la boulangerie, labsuperette de la station essence, y a aussi quelques restaurants avec de la cuisine locale que nous avons beaucoup apprécié.
On avait des algues devant chez nous mais la plage du village à 5 min à pied était propre. On allait surfer sur les plage un peu plus vers le bout, à 5min en voiture. :) on a aussi fait des randonnées dans le coin, soit en partant à pied de la maison soit à 5 min en voiture.
On a aussi louer des canoë à la villa une journée pour 12 euros.
Il y a un petit îlet qu'on voit depuis la villa dans la baie et on est alles y nagé, pour les nageurs confients, c'était super.
La villa à un jacuzzi sur la terrasse du rez de chaussé et on en a bien profité!
Les deux cuisines sont très bien équipées toutes les deux.
Les chambres ont chacune leur air conditionné.
L'hôte est tres disponible par téléphone et le voisin sur place qui s'occupe de la villa est aussi tres disponible. Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour, nous reviendrons.
