How can I describe this apartment? It’s an experience, a magical moment—it’s perfect.
We’re in one of the most famous and exciting historic centers on the continent—specifically in one of its most well-known corners, where Vico Sauli and Via dei Giustiniani intersect, just a short walk from the Cathedral and Via San Lorenzo.
As you arrive, Piazza Giustiniani welcomes you with its old-world charm, and upon entering Palazzo Giustiniani, you’re enveloped by a magical atmosphere that transports you back in time.
When you open the mailbox, the Lady of Dreams will greet you.
Everything is perfect, meticulously and expertly curated.
The small, charming entryway, the living room, the kitchen.
The enormous windows will sing songs of the past, telling you stories you’ve never heard before.
Everything is exquisite, enchanting, yet also comfortable and modern.
Even though you’ll be living in a dream, all the amenities are there: from air conditioning to a washing machine, from a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy and comfortable bathroom, from a TV to a vacuum cleaner.
But the Lady of Dreams will continue to weave her spell: she’ll take you by the hand and, as you climb the stairs, lead you upstairs to a spacious open area with an additional sitting room, all the way to a “hidden” alcove with a comfortable bed and a double bedroom that holds a little secret. You’ll discover it!
The Lady will welcome you—up to 6 people
The charm of the past will stay with you even when you step outside: you’ll be transported into a dream, and the Lady of Dreams will accompany you even as you wander through the famous alleyways full of surprises, traditional shops, street food, restaurants, and attractions.
In just a few minutes’ walk, you’ll be at Piazza De Ferrari or the Porto Antico, the Palazzo Ducale or the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Aquarium, or on Via Roma and Via XX Settembre...

As advertised, the apartment is in a historical building right next to a piazza. We enjoyed being able to be centrally located in the city with plenty to visit nearby. Our host also secured us parking for our cars for the duration. Note that Genoa is an older city with many narrow streets which may not appeal to all. Having AC in the apartment was very nice after a hot summer day in Genoa.

The property was beautiful and very clean. The elevator was big enough for people and luggage. Our host was incredibly helpful. We loved the neighborhood too, very close to the Cathedral di San Lorenzo, several museums, shopping, and food. If I'm ever back in Genova I'd love to stay there again.

We checked in on Saturday and air conditioner did not work. They didn’t get it fixed until Friday, the night before our departure. The only semi comfortable place to sit is the sofa bed in the living room, which was broken and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Our guests wound up putting the mattress on the floor to sleep. Other than seating for 2 on the sofa, others had to sit on dining room’s chairs, so no comfortable relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Kitchen was not stocked very well. The location of the apartment was very good, close to everything. Despite the problems, the hosts were responsive. This apt would be great for 2, just ok for 4, and marginally ok for 6
