We all had a lovely time
Received the code in the morning and was easy enough to let ourselves in.
Loved it all, couldn’t get the DVD to work but as it was a smart tv we logged into our own Now tv, plenty of books and games.
Drove into Dunfermline on the Saturday lovely city.

......and Breath!
We stayed at Lazy Days 7th-14th October. The highlight of our trip was the excellent communication with Jill, from our booking welcome, till our wishing us a safe trip home the night before we left. The purpose of our trip was family time with our neice living in Archterarder, I asked Jill if Julie could visit us at Lazy Days and was told by return that she would be very welcome. That welcome was extended when a lovely lady walking her dog, showed Julie the way to us, from the entrance to Glenhaven, when she decided to go it alone and not wait for us to pick her up, as normal. I really did feel that I was talking to a friend rather than the host of Lazy Days, who was letting her lovely Lodge to us. Thank you Jill, for being just the way you are.
A little about Glenhaven surrounded by tree's and hills, with each lodge having its own area around it, it's a perfect place to stay or retire to. Lazy Days is at the end of the road, with tree's and a grass area including a bench beside it and likewise in front. Your closest neighbours garden apart from a pathway reaches the Lodge but their garden is lovely and a bonus to see. Lazy Days has lots of outside seating for you to eat drink and be merry at your leisure and can be beautifully lit at night (switch in the heater cupboard).
Inside, the lounge area is an excellent size, which was a bonus as we travelled with boxes for our neice, which we could could sort on the carpeted floor and relive some memories, which brought both laughter and tears.
I tend to travel with everything but the kitchen sink and so although plenty of storage, and only the two of us, I used the smaller twin bedded room for our luggage and as a dressing room.
Having a bath, although snug but ok because I'm under 5ft and a shower, was a bonus. The heat of the water was just perfect in both, I only had to run the hot tap for my bath and the shower was set at a perfect temperature for us both.
There was absolutely nothing I didn't like, but if I was to be really picky, I would suggest a glass/pottery fruitbowl for the table but it's probably only us who eat it by the pound and I did find a plastic, mixing bowl which did the trick perfectly and I couldn't find a large spoon type ladle to drain poached eggs but managed without.
Look around and familiarise yourself with lightswitches, waste disposal instructions ( behind small bin on lower shelf beside cooker) etc before unloading the car is my advice but a note to me really.

Excellent property, would definitely stay there again. Very peaceful.
We were self catering. We loved that there was fresh milk in the fridge prior to our arrival and biscuits with tea/coffee supplies. We ended up being later on arrival so it was great to get into the lodge and find the heating on. Very comfortable.
We liked everything with the property. Only that we had to drive out to the nearest shops but the beautiful scenery made up for it!
