Pearl Hotel İstanbul

The Hotel location is excellent and so is the staff, always smiling and helpful. This is a cheap hotel, dont expect anything fancy. If you only need a clean bed and a shower, this hotel is perfect 👍

The air conditioning was not working, but we did not want to move to another room, so we stayed without A/C.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It’s conveniently located near the city center, main attractions, restaurants, and markets. The value for money is excellent. Special thanks to Mousa at the night reception, who always greeted us with a warm smile. I had a small complaint, and it was resolved very quickly. Highly appreciated!

Some maintenance is needed, like painting the walls again, fixing damage in the wall from rain and moisture, and fix the TV signal. This comment is just to help improve the hotel, because I liked everything overall.

Excellent location easy walk to transport and local sights. Well kept and clean rooms. Good value for the price.

I had to switch my first room for a different room (see below). The second room was much better and the Internet was perfect! The hotel is close to a mini-mart and numerous good restaurants. It's fairly close the the tram, though that is all uphill. All in all, for the price it was safe and relatively clean. I would stay again, but doubt that I would recommend it to family or friends. Hving said that, they were repairing and painting walls, so they are working on it.

So I checked in and relized the Internet barely worked in the room. The shower had a rain head and a wand, but the wand head was missing and if you didn't step on the end, the water shot all over the place. I immediatley went downstairs to change rooms, but was told they couldn't do that until the following day. The following day I repacked my stuff and brought my bag down along with the key to the room, to the front desk. The same deskman was on duty and he said that the new room wasn't ready yet, but would be later that afternoon, which is what I expected. When I returned in the early evening I had to explain to the new deskman about the change of rooms and the storage of my luggage (with difficult communication even though the guy kept saying he understood, but wasn't giving me a room or my luggage), Fortunately I could see the edge of my bookbag and pointed to it. He caught that and after a bit of charades I got my bookbag and eventually my backpack too. After working through Google Translate and some more charades he got the idea to call the earlier deskman, that I had dealt with earlier, and that man told him which room to give me. It would have been much easier had the first deskman just passed the information on in the first place. Both rooms had something broken in them and the bedding has seen better days (cigarette holes, tattered, but functional).
