We loved the staff; beyond friendly and helpful. We loved the food, which is fabulous. We loved the hotel lounge, the rooms and the village. We had two dinners and 2 breakfasts. Choices were plentiful and the food was exceptional.
The only thing that didn't work so well for my elderly mum was that the pub/restaurant is across the road from the hotel But on night one when=n she was really tired, I ordered from the bar and the staff helped me take the supper to the hotel lounge which was perfect. Other meals, we walked across; there is a zebra. On arrival the wonderful staff member stopped the traffic for us! So not a problem for most, and solutions were offered!
