Absolutely fabulous

An absolutely stunning location. The villa was more than we expected. Furnished to a high standard with all the equipment needed to make your stay very comfortable. Easy access to shops and beaches. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful view and great villa!

The villa is absolutely FANTASTIC! The view is spectacular, you couldn't dream for a better one , it is even better than what you can see in the pictures. The terrace is perfect and very well equipped, the pool very nice. The rooms are large and comfortable and so are the beds. There were beach towels available. The villa is perfectly located near Calheta, away from crowded Funchal. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Honestly, it is paradise on earth!

The host was smileful but she was in a great hurry and spent about 7 seconds with us when we arrived. She reacted promptly when I contacted her about the hot water (it takes ages to come, but it does!) and the leaks in the showers etc. She did bring a nice basket of fruit but the cupboards in the kitchen were absolutely empty (the only item was salt!) . It would have been nice to have at least some tea or coffee there ! But these are tiny issues compared to the stunning view and beautiful villa!

Definitely coming back!

Great view anytime of the day, away from city rush and once needed, any part of the island is within an hour drive.
