About this apartment rental
In the heart of the most authentic Venice, in the Castello district, on the very central Via Garibaldi—a place where true Venetians like us take pride in still enjoying a city that is alive and real—stands our little gem: a fully restored space where the past blends with the present. The renovation we’ve carried out on the property passed down to us by our “veci”* allows us to proudly offer our guests a unique experience: experiencing Venice like a Venetian. The apartment spans two floors, connected by a wooden staircase built by our grandfather, a carpenter, which we were proud to preserve and restore. Ideal for a couple who will spend a few days experiencing the life of the real Venice—the one we laboriously “defend” against the ravages of time. Its strategic location—a 2-minute walk from the Biennale pavilions, 10 minutes from St. Mark’s and the beaches of the Lido—yet off the noisy and chaotic beaten path of mass tourism, makes it particularly appealing to those who wish to experience our city deeply and authentically. As members of the Castellani family for generations, we’ll be honored to personally welcome you upon your arrival at the nearest vaporetto stop—one less thing to worry about :). We’re also happy to offer our guests the best “tips” to ensure their experience in Venice is just like our city: unforgettable!

Rita was so nice and accommodating. We needed to add an extra day and she made it so simple.
The apartment is perfectly located to be close to everything we wanted to see but we weren’t overwhelmed by other tourists.
The shower is truly the best shower in Europe! It’s big and clean and has a sprayer and a seat.
The kitchen had all the things we needed and there was AC and I make it so easy to sleep. I hope to return soon!

kleine Wohnung auf 2 Ebenen mit schönem Bad und grossen Ess-/Wohnzimmer im Erdgeschoß und 2 Schlafzimmern im OG, allerdings ohne Tür dazwischen sondern offener Durchgang. Mitten zwischen Gardini und Arsenale, ideal für Biennale Besucher, 30 m von der Via Garibaldi mit Läden und Restaurants. Echt zu empfehlen.
