My friend and I take a fishing trip every year. Over the years we've stayed at a lot of nice places through VRBO. Quite honestly, none of our experiences have been bad in any way. However, this location really stood out. The property and accommodations were immaculate. The hostess was also fantastic to work with. It also worked out for us that the weather and fishing were both exceptional.Sometimes when you look at the pictures of the places online you wonder whether you're seeing the real thing or whether it's being framed as something it really isn't. All the pictures for this place are really what you get. There is no exaggeration or falsehoods. From the pristine lake, to the firepit, (clean) grill, rowboat, dock, and gorgeous sitting area outside, this is the place to go to if you're looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

This home is truly a hidden gem. This beautiful home, once a family dairy farm, is full of charm and surrounded by incredible natural beauty. Being just steps from the spring-fed lake meant we enjoyed breathtaking views from the moment we arrived. One of our favorite evenings was watching thousands of fireflies create a glowing blanket across the fields. We were also treated to an incredible thunder and lightning storm. Sitting in the living room with drinks in hand, watching nature's spectacular light show over the lake, is a memory we'll never forget. The home is thoughtfully designed to bring the outdoors in. Nearly every room has French doors or sliding glass doors, so whether it was sunrise over the lake or a spectacular sunset, the views were always just outside. Every window seemed to frame a picture-perfect scene. If you're looking for a peaceful escape where you can unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy stunning scenery, this is the place. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about our next visit. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!
