About this house rental
A perfect home for a family get away with a maximum of 8 occupants. From the driveway you will walk up 3 steps to the front porch to the first level which has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, laundry room and is an open format with kitchen, dining and living room. The two downstairs bedrooms are in the rear of the house allowing for quiet space for individuals who enjoy reading. The kitchen has been updated with quality cooking equipment, microwave and dishwasher. The dining area has a sliding door that opens to an outside enclosed deck where there is a BBQ, table, umbrella, chairs, & outdoor lights. You can also access the enclosed deck from the driveway, only one step!
Upstairs is another separate bedroom with a balcony, bistro table & chairs, a bathroom, and a cozy loft which has two twin beds and a day bed with pop up trundle accommodating 4. Games, puzzles and books have been selected for family entertainment. There are three TV's, one downstairs in the living room, one in the upstairs bedroom, one in the smaller bedroom downstairs and all are cable ready.
Our home was completely upgraded 5 years ago. A great location, 10 minutes from Tahoe City and King's Beach, 5 minutes from the lake, 20 minutes to Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley and NorthStar ski resorts, and 15 minutes to the Nevada state line.

We always enjoy our stay at this wonderful cabin in the woods in Carnelian Bay. There is plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have a little space. The bathrooms are very large, updated, and very clean. The overall condition of the cabin is excellent. The kids enjoy sleeping in the loft and they each have their own bed. When planning our annual trip to the lake this is the first listing we check for availability. The location of the cabin is very quiet. A nice break away from the hustle and bustle of the lake activities.
