Most of the complex is really clean and well maintained, the host kept in touch and answered any questions we had, and agreed a late check out to help us with our later flight home. The maid visited every day to make the bed.
I made a mistake of looking at the photos on the main listing and believing this would be where we were staying. I chose a standard room without thinking to then revisit the photos of the property and the listing stated only 1 left at this price so I assumed it was popular. We were a little disappointed to arrive and were staying in a log cabin that resembled nothing from the photos I had initially seen. I did revisit Booking.com and realised my mistake and also realise that it wasn’t just a case of 1 remaining at the price - more that it is the only one at this price. The cabin/shed was very clean inside and the maid attended every day, but the facilities were very sparse. We were only there for 4 days and explored the eateries of Corralejo instead of self catering so the 2 cups and 1 teaspoon were sufficient. If we had been staying longer I would have asked for the possibility of a room upgrade as it would have been very difficult to prepare food. Note to anyone booking this property- recheck the photos after selecting standard room! The tennis court is listed as a facility but I don’t think it can really be classed as this - it looks to have been derelict for many years with a collapsed net and cracked surface.
