8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026

Amazing view from our room with a balcony, very nice welcome from the team, well located to the beach and village of Ventnor.

Pity the hotel had stopped its breakfast service for the Winter, and the bar was not manned or heated - we got reception to help us with drinks, and they were very helpful, but it’s clearly not their area of expertise. It’s just a 7 minute walk to the village for restaurants that do both breakfast or dinner though (very steep hill and lots of stairs though).

Location was fine, and staff were friendly.

No breakfast, the radiators in the room were not working, and the TV was possessed by demons.
