Close to everything in town. You can walk to all the sites and restaurants. Best restaurant for clams in the entire town of Lisbon is attached to the front of the hotel.
Stayed on the 5th floor. Angled roof that I hit my head on getting out of bed. Also, the toilet flush is terrible. A skinny push button that’s hard in the hands.

Excellent central location and a characterful, historic building. Great room well appointed with a complimentary mini bar, speaker, responsive air con, and shutters to close out external light. Terrific views from the fourth floor across the nearby square. The main highlight was the excellent staff - polite, welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. Went above and beyond to take care of me and make my stay a success. The hotel exceeded my expectations significantly and I will be sure to return!
The only downside was that there was a power cut during my stay. Not the fault of the hotel in any way of course and they were quick to assist with portable lights. Not sure if this happens regularly but if it does it would be good for those with mobility issues to request a room on the ground floor.

Bathroom was spacious.
Bedroom was tiny and the bathroom was too big. No storage space to hang clothes or drawers to put clothes in.
