It was clean and tidy, free use of the bikes and kayaks was a definite bonus, not that we used them…. Having so many bedrooms was also great.
We didn’t realise that the ‘house’ was actually a main house with three separate ‘cabins’ outside that were the other three bedrooms. It was ok for us, but if you have young children, this wouldn’t have worked.

We had a great time at this property! It was comfortable, clean and walking distance to town and the river. The beds and loungeroom were comfy.
As per the other comments on this post, I do think the advertising of this property could be clearer. We would have no complaints at all if the listing had been clearer in the fact that the toilet was outside the main house, that the main house was accessible only via key pad (more difficult to navigate at night than a key), and that the only stove top was one, plug-in burner (doable for a family of 3 but it would have been great to have this clearly explained). I agree that the slightly aggressive tone in all the messaging and all the internal rooms being locked was slightly off-putting. We would've loved to use the kayaks, but they were too heavy to carry down to the river by ourselves. We read the other reviews and agreed that the accommodation itself was comfortable, clean and in a great location - just would benefit from making the listing clearer (which plenty of other reviewers seem to agree with).

Location was amazing !!
Beds were comfortable with nice linen
Plenty of hot water to shower.
Easy check in process also, owners great communication if needed.
My only suggestion is to provide a Clothes horse to hang your clothes after washing !!
Doesn’t work trying to use the line during winter, se we ended up hanging clothes up like a “Chinese laundry”
Don’t let this put you off staying however, it’s a great place and I would love to stay during summer !!!

Great location and easy walk into the town and to the lake.
It was bizarre that all the bedrooms (even those inside the main property) had individual locks on the doors. Only one shower and toilet for the property which would be problematic for full occupancy. You had to go outside to access the toilet, through another locked door- not great in the middle of the night. The kitchen was not particularly well equipped (single plug in hot plate and plug in electric pan). This was the first property we’ve been to in 3 weeks that didn’t provide any milk for drinks.
