About this apartment rental
Our house is located in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Ehrenberg-Wüstensachsen, within the Rhön Biosphere Reserve and Dark Sky Park. Whether you’re looking for hikes or walks around Wüstensachsen, to the Steinkopf, the Schafstein, or the Wasserkuppe. A walk through the Rote or Schwarze Moor is also highly recommended. For those looking for a bit more action, we recommend the Wasserkuppe. Gliding, paragliding—give it a try, or just watch others do it. The same goes for the Steinwand—our climbing rock in the Rhön, which is also an idyllic spot. On hot days, we recommend a visit to the Wüstensachsen swimming pool, as well as the wading pool.
In winter, when snow conditions are good, you can start your cross-country ski trail just 2 minutes from your front door.
Nearby ski lifts on the Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, or Arnsberg.
The Baroque city of Fulda (35 min. by car or bus).
Our town has a doctor’s office, a pharmacy, a pizzeria, two restaurants, and a café.
The nearest ATM is in Hilders.
Omert Vacation Rental:
A small but charming vacation rental with a separate entrance in an absolutely quiet location on the outskirts of town. Just a few steps from the Ulster Valley Bike Trail, hiking trail, and cross-country ski trail. Start your day with breakfast on the sunny terrace surrounded by the scent of lavender.
Of course, lounge chairs and a sun umbrella are also available for your use.
The apartment features a kitchen-living room with an LCD TV, radio, microwave, oven, freezer, toaster, and, of course, free Wi-Fi. Bedroom and bathroom (shower, toilet).
For days when the weather is bad, a DVD player and our small library are available.
For the little ones, there are two playgrounds just a few minutes’ walk away.
