Our house is located at the foot of the Reiteralpe and just outside the Berchtesgaden National Park.
Here with us, you’ll find endless opportunities for leisure activities. From hiking, mountaineering, rock climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, kayaking, to swimming in the beautiful Thumsee or Hintersee. A short drive will also take you to the two outdoor swimming pools in Unken and Inzell.
In 10 minutes, you’ll reach Ramsau, the first mountaineering village and the starting point for ascents of the Watzmann and Hochkalter. It’s a 25-minute drive to Berchtesgaden and Königssee.
For a stroll through Bad Reichenhall or to relax at the Rupertustherme, it’s a 5-minute drive. These destinations are also accessible by public bus.
If you’d like to go sightseeing or head to the airport in Salzburg, it takes 25 minutes.
Many biking and hiking trails, such as the Way of St. James or Viva Alpina, start right outside our door.
All neighboring regions offer winter sports at their very best. The family-friendly ski resorts of Götschen, Jenner, Heutal, Lofer, and Steinplatte are between 15 and 25 minutes away. All major Austrian ski resorts (e.g., Hochkönig, Saalbach, Amade, Kitzbühel) are about 40 minutes away.. The nearest cross-country ski trails are just a 5-minute drive away. All the well-known World Cup events in Inzell, Ruhpolding, or Königssee are 15–25 minutes away.

Reiteralmblick Vacation Rental:

We offer you a beautiful, modern, and bright 90-square-meter vacation rental in the attic, as well as a large balcony with a magnificent view of the Reiteralpe! The separate bedroom features a double bed and enough space for an extra bed or a crib. Another double bed is located in the living room, separated by a privacy screen. The living room is also equipped with a large couch. The dining area and kitchen are located in the same living space. We’re happy to provide a crib, high chair, changing pad, and diaper pail for your little ones! Children have plenty of space to run around in our vacation apartment. You’re welcome to store your bikes and skis in our garage. A parking space is reserved for you.



On-site costs: A 20% deposit may be charged after booking. We charge 75.00 euros for final cleaning; this is already included in the room rate. Bed linens and towels are included. We charge 10.00 euros per person for a towel change. The booking fee is to be paid in cash on the day of arrival. If you’d prefer to transfer the amount to our account in advance, please send us a brief email. Pets are not allowed. For the little ones: A crib, high chair, changing pad, and diaper pail are provided free of charge upon request. The tourist tax of 2.50 EUR per person per day (ages 16 and up) and 1.00 EUR per person per day for children (ages 5–15) will be charged separately upon your arrival.



Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out is available from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
