Cozy, newly renovated, well appointed cottage overlooking Bass Harbor. The perfect spot for your island getaway. At the end of the day wind down at the water's edge and watch the boats come in. Or, rise early and sip coffee as the sun comes up. You'll love the peace and quiet of this property. This area of the harbor is tidal so twice every 24 hours the water will recede allowing you to see the harbor floor and the wildlife that searches for food when it's low tide.

Great location, clean well kept property, beautiful views, pet friendly. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Would recommend getting a few kayaks for renters to enjoy since having such close access to the bay.

The property in Bernard was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in our many travels. The views over the harbor are spectacular. The house is small, really for just two people, but it is beautifully decorated. There are just enough kitchen supplies for guests. Ingrid, the host, was terrific in her communications. She provided so much information about the property, recommendations for eateries, and about Acadia National Park. We hope to stay at the cottage again someday.

One week on the Quietside with our two shihtzus was the reset we needed. Too many highlights from our trip to list. Not only would we stay here again, we would bring the whole family and never leave if it was an option :)

Lovely cottage on the waterfront as pictured. It was clean and comfortable. Some of the furniture in the seating area has actually been updated from what is in the picture and it’s all very nice. The host was responsive and accommodating.
