A great stay in Ortigia – 10/10!
We really enjoyed our stay at Autentica Ortigia! The location is perfect for exploring the island on foot, and everything was easy and convenient.
As it was our first time in Ortigia, Mauro’s recommendations and suggested itineraries were really helpful. We used them throughout our stay, including for a day trip outside Ortigia. We even uploaded his maps into ChatGPT to turn them into Google Maps routes, which worked perfectly and made exploring so much easier!
We also really appreciated the minibar service, especially in the mornings, evenings and late at night. Such a convenient little extra!
Overall, a lovely experience, a great location and lots of thoughtful touches that made our trip even more enjoyable.

The apartments are in a large house right by the sea
Our room had views of fishing and day boats and a beautiful fountain
It was spotlessly clean and had a complementary soft drinks fridge and snacks
Lisa our host was exceptional
Sending directions and parking information
She kept in touch via WhatsApp and gave us directions to the local area
She even booked a beautiful seafood restaurant for us away from the tourist area
Ortigia is well worth visiting and Lisa and the apartment was the icing on the cake

Nice to have an apartment with kitchen and washer. Would be great for a weeklong stay.
Confusing getting there , but found parking.

The room was lovely, light and in a great position with lovely views.
Small bathroom bit adequate. The bed was hard.
