For visiting the port houses of Vila Nova de Gaia, this location is about as good as you can get. Apartments were clean and comfortable. I would definitely look to stay here again next time I vist.
A little tip if wanting to arrive by public transport during the day; take the tram to Jardim do Morro and catch the cable car to the bottom. This won't necessarily appear as an option on maps. Check cable car opening times before you rely on this.
I wouldn't change a thing.

Super clean and well equipped spacious apartments in a perfect quiet but central location in Gaia . Great communication throughout . The view from the Loft was fantastic .
The codes access was super convenient but some challenges with it were frustrating .

The location is almost perfect: a quiet spot in a square sheltered from the noise of the main street and next to a church, with an really good view of Porto. And less than a minute's walk away is the Gaia waterfront, and we can easily cross the Dom Luís I Bridge to reach OPorto. The apartment is renovated and in good condition for a pleasant stay.

The location is superb on different levels
The expectation of a balcony is created by the pictures and guests' comments, but in reality there is only 1 room with a balcony. Other appartments, in contrast, have not even a window in the living area (only in the bedrooms).
