We liked the lodge, it had everything we needed and we loved the location, it was incredibly peaceful, surrounded by trees and there were bats and owls around in the evening and we were lucky enough to see the Milky Way sitting out on the terrace. We visited Bude, Bideford and Hartland Quay.
On our first night I must have bumped into the end of the bed three or four times and bruised my legs, because the quilt was hanging over the end and I didn’t see the bedposts- I tucked the quilt in so the posts were visible-
No one’s fault and I’m not complaining but this might be a useful tip for anyone coming to stay!

We had a lovely stay at Hartland Lodge. A beautiful location and warm, cosy and soscious cabin.

Good location and close to the ocean and key attractions. Lovely natural beauty and warm cozy lounge and outside patio for entertainment.
Could be a bit too secluded for some people and the roads to the property are single lane
