Mrs. Alba is very kind and a wonderful guest. She makes coffee for everyone in the morning and is very generous and easy to talk to. She is always willing to help with anything she can. The place is comfortable and clean. The location is perfect.

Guarda bien tu plata en la casa!!

Great little house with lots amenities, super safe neighborhood, lots of good things to say.

I had +500.000 Pesos taken from my wallet. I left the wallet in the room for 20 minutes then retrieved it, counted it. At the time La Señora & I were alone at her home. Immediately after I got my wallet, she saw me & jumped startled & was literally trembling (head to toe) with fear which subsided later, as I didn't mention it. Even hurts me to post this review because I though we were such good friends, but I need to warn others as she had left me with no hotel $ for the last 11 days in Colombia. I was in Barranquilla for dental work, I left that day with enough to pay the dentist in either Dollars or Pesos. I payed in Dollars which means I had close to $500 worth of Pesos in my wallet. I went straight from the dentist to her home & the money disappeared shortly after. I also keep my money in a zip pouch, in my front pocket (for the last 20 years) and have never once in my life lost or misplaced my money, ever & I have traveled everywhere using this system This was actually twice money disappeared from my wallet in her house, the first time was same situation but less $. After the second incident, once she felt confident (I didn't mention it til the last day) she went out and bought all the things she needed. This could have been ideal, but it became my only mistake in my whole trip. Barranquilla has very good & honest people. La Señora Alva is from Bogota & all the people I have ever met from Bogota have given me problems, they are greedy dogs.

Comfortable private room in safe location with great hosts.

Spacious private room with really good fan. Good breakfast and the hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. The house is in a very safe neighbourhood and close to a shopping centre.
