Breakfast was good - we were in a hurry so couldn’t take advantage but got amazing soft boiled eggs and gluten free toastp
The lighting in the evening in the grounds wasn’t very strong. Had to curtail our walk because we didn’t have a torch.
The bar was gorgeous but the whisky selection very limited. Still had an enjoyable time there

Excellent location for our needs, staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome
Food is excellent and well prepared
Spa and gym facilities were great as well
Rooms very welcoming and cosy
The bar wasn’t fully manned, but just ask and someone would be there very quickly to help you with your drink order

Location
My room was over the back of the hotel and unfortunately something was loose all night and banging from at the rear of the hotel .
I think I have been unlucky but got very little sleep and left the hotel before breakfast time .
Otherwise the hotel was fine
