Check-in took 20 minutes. The front desk staff kept operating their system but didn’t seem to understand what they were doing, and in the end the issue still wasn’t resolved. Both the front desk and other staff had limited English proficiency, which made communication difficult and required me to repeat things multiple times.
On the first day, during housekeeping, my socks were placed on the pillow, which made me very uncomfortable and upset. I don’t understand why anyone would do that.
On the second day, before 9 a.m., housekeeping used a key card to enter the room while we were still sleeping. I consider that a normal sleeping time, so I don’t understand why staff would enter the room at that hour.
Overall, I don’t think these issues should occur in a four-star hotel.
