Not the stay I was expecting

I found the location to be the only advantage of the property.

The check-in and checkout times were really unusual compared to other hotels in the area. I came to this place from another hotel where I stayed during the business part of my trip. But the super late check-in time here, and the fact that they weren’t flexible at all, caused me plenty of trouble during that time frame. They asked me to send the exact check-in time, which I did before arriving. Still, I ended up standing outside the door with my luggage for over an hour waiting for them to reply. Texting was the only way to reach them, and their excuse was, it was the weekend! All the instructions and most texts were only in Portuguese, which made things very hard to follow. The apartment wasn’t really clean! here was hair everywhere, lots of mosquitoes, and even a big lizard on the ceiling! But the worst part was the toilet. When I arrived, it wasn’t flushed, and the smell was horrible. The flush didn’t even work! And instead of fixing it, they rented it out like that anyway. I messaged them about it, and they finally fixed it, three days later, on the day I was checking out! Overall, being in Rio was one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had. The beach, the city, my first hotel, and the people were all amazing. This place was the only downside of my trip!

Kein TEE-Kocher vorhanden
