About this house rental

The big house isn’t just a magnificent mansion; it’s nearly half a century old, yet its beauty remains timeless to our eyes. We’re nestled in the Atlantic Forest of the Mogi das Cruzes Nature District. My wife and I live here, and we’ve always enjoyed the habit and pleasure of welcoming guests. Here, we always welcome our children, grandchildren, and friends with open arms. Our home is more than just a beautiful house; its walls, built of thousands of bricks, are living walls—walls with soul and joy. There lies the history of our family—personal, one-of-a-kind objects and decorative pieces collected over many years from places around the world—and, in addition to all this, a large collection of books on display in a private library. Not only that, but we have an art gallery where your eyes will wander among delicate and sensitive works—frescoes and reproductions by the great masters of world art.
We are a family passionate about our home and our family, and from now on, we are opening our doors, windows, and hearts to you, so you can come and enjoy a little bit of what we have to offer.
Let’s now take a tour inside this beautiful mansion, which spans nearly 1,000 square meters of floor space on a 36,000-square-meter lot. It features a library with an office equipped with modern technology, including high-speed internet and Wi-Fi, as well as a library with hundreds of books and a small counter made of imperial brown marble where you can enjoy a delicious cup of fresh coffee. Further on, passing through a solid walnut door, we enter the large hallway, where all 11 bedrooms are located. On the right are 5 suites, all with deep blue colonial-style windows that open to a beautiful landscape, letting in fresh, gentle air, as well as 2 double-bed rooms sharing a common bathroom; further on, 4 more rooms with 2 single beds each, and two common bathrooms shared by every two rooms. Lined along a large hallway stretching over 30 meters—which resembles a gallery— past the hallway we arrive at the large social lounge—the living room with a TV area and fireplace, with cozy chairs inviting you to take a nap—and an open American-style kitchen where the aroma of delicious food wafts toward us; passing through the hall, we enter the game room where the fun takes place, a large official pool table and an ’80s video game machine are available for your enjoyment, along with playing cards and chess—all at your disposal inside a fully glass-enclosed gazebo where the landscape blends seamlessly with the surroundings. But it doesn’t stop there—we have a gourmet area with a black-and-gray granite grill and an electric beer dispenser, all in a relaxed atmosphere filled with cheerful bar signs; this is where we let our dreams take flight and unwind..... But for those who want a little more privacy, in addition to the main house, we have a beautiful and charming little cottage tucked away in the garden—a “country bungalow”—located outdoors near the pool
The house was built in the mid-1970s, by businessman Egberto Peretti, who spent a great deal of time building this home. Today, the mansion is nearing its half-century mark; however, it underwent a renovation 13 years ago. It features hot and cold water in all bathrooms, powered by a hybrid solar and gas system, internet throughout the house, ceiling fans, box-spring beds in the suites, and conventional beds in the other bedrooms. There are no TVs or minibars in the bedrooms; all rooms have emergency lighting, and the property has its own power generator—all designed to bring a touch of modernity without losing the essence of the home.
There are 18 pillars supporting this entire mansion, a nod to the capital city of Brasília, where our master architect Oscar Nyemar designed and brought his dream to life.
The Casa Grande, or grand mansion, is an icon of beauty, with architecture and landscaping that blend concepts, and its regal presence stands before four majestic imperial palm trees over 40 meters tall. We have a bold slogan: “Sophisticated by Nature,” as we are surrounded by a landscape of century-old trees, native to the Atlantic Forest, such as the manacá trees of the mountains and the quaresmeira trees that color the forest with their multicolored fronds, as well as landscaping featuring large clusters of tree species designed by landscape architect Fernando Yamasaki.
Our motto: “Mi casa, tu casa”—our goal is to bring the full spirit of hospitality to the art of welcoming guests.
