It was a super clean family-run hotel with very friendly, helpful staff in a good location for shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and we liked the fact that we weren’t pestered, but could request what we needed and it would be delivered eg extra milk and towels. There was a country music event while we were there, but once we’d left, we couldn’t hear the music in our room which overlooked the green at the front. We didn’t hear the funfair on the green either. We had breakfasts and dinner at the inn and all the meals were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was for a three-star hotel.

Fabulous family run hotel. Our room was really nicely decorated, and was very clean and comfortable. Food was great, in particular the cooked breakfast. The welcome and general friendliness of the staff were exceptional throughout our two night stay. Whether having breakfast, dinner or just a drink in the bar, the team were chatty and attentive. They made time for the guests and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We would highly recommend this little gem and will definitely return.
There’s nothing not to like. We enjoyed everything about our stay.
