Location is so close to main train station so it is very convenient. Staff is helpful and we noticed they speak more English than before.
For the women’s onsen, my wife found some of the other guests are not strictly following the cleaning rule like washing hair and remove make ups before going into the onsen, so on a Saturday night, she can see oils and debris floating in the main onsen bath. I hope the staff at APA hotel can enforce the process and keep the onsen clean.

Location is certainly the most important aspect of this APA property in Fukuoka. The property was well-managed just like all other APA hotels across Japan. Onsen should not be missed

Location, close to Hamata train station
Air conditioning not working properly, can’t adjust temperature, only heater but too warm. It’s winter, yet too hot & stuffy in room.
Check-in is a pain. Supposedly automated but process not streamlined.
