Sunset Bay Villas also features a pool and fitness room for your enjoyment, as well as a large marina area. This our third stay at Sunset Bay Villas, but the first at this specific 2nd floor condo. This unit is spacious & had everything we needed. The interior pictures are fairly accurate minus some cosmetic changes. It was clean except the floor needed a better mopping & the grout needs scrubbed. It’s a very cozy interior nonetheless, plus our pup could stay (thank you!) The pool was clean. The condos are convenient to restaurants & shops (walkable).To give a better perspective on orientation the condo is in front of the stairwell so our adult girls staying in that first bedroom could hear every noise & see everyone coming up the steps from their window. You will hear almost every footstep & sliding chair from the unit above you. The balcony is nice, the view is good, but there is zero privacy. It is like a pie wedge on the left side so you are very close to your neighbor. The pictures don’t display this. The other units we’ve stayed in had much more privacy on the balconies. This is an architectural design flaw, not the owner’s. We just couldn’t enjoy time out there. After hours communication was infuriating; took 4 calls to a third party service to speak to the realty. Room darkening curtains are needed in the bedrooms (master does have them). The foyer blind doesn’t work unless you flip the louvers manually (looks like a dog may have attacked a few of them!)We had a great time here, the unit just wasn’t ideal for us compared to others we’ve stayed.

Very nice condo - very clean and well stocked. Elevator was right outside the door, very convenient. Great location- I wish we had been able to stay one more night.

First time we've stayed in town. The condo was pleasant enough, although not terribly clean. The potholders in the kitchen and the bath mats, for example, were quite gross. Kitchen fairly well equipped. Guests should be informed about the loud, constant buzzing noise coming from the adjacent Coast Guard property. It's quite annoying if someone is sensitive to noise. Also, upstairs guests can be quite loud - running, voices. We'll be going back to renting a house next year, with a bit more privacy and peace and quiet.
