spacious room.. clean, kitchen aria good

After booking through Booking.com, we received a questionnaire to fill out. The questions included personal details such as: "Who will be in the room with you? Is it a man or a woman? How old are you? Are there additional people coming to your room? Who are they? What is the purpose of your visit?" They also requested a photo of your passport and your social security number. This felt very intrusive, almost like going through U.S. border control. While I completed most of the form online, every answer was mandatory, leaving no room for flexibility. It definitely didn’t create a welcoming atmosphere. Upon arrival, we encountered further issues. Something went wrong with the system, and we had to redo the entire process. The women answering the phone were abrupt, and it was clear they weren’t the owners of the property. It took 45 minutes to comply with these excessive rules and regulations, and we were on the verge of ruining our weekend. To make matters worse, there were others locked out as well, some waiting for over an hour. We felt like we were being treated like prisoners. Eventually, we complied and received the access codes, but of course, they didn’t work. We had to call yet again, for the fifth time. In conclusion, the check-in process needs a serious overhaul. It's important to make guests feel welcome, not threatened or frustrated. The current procedure is cumbersome and off-putting. While the rooms themselves were great, the check-in experience needs significant improvement to match the quality of the accommodations.

Always a great stay

I go to Stadsvilla quite often for business and it never disappoints. Room is always incredibly clean, 3 mins walk from the train station and very nicely located.

Die Lage war sehr zentral, gegenüber gibt es ein tolles Frühstückslokal und auch in der Stadt fällt es schwer zu verhungern, daher haben wir die Küche nicht genutzt.

Es war recht hellhörig

10 / 10Outstanding·Jul 2026

Schön eingerichtet, sauber, tolle Lage, einfacher Zugang.

8 / 10Excellent·Jun 2026

Mooi monumentaal pand, midden in het dwaalgebied van Tilburg. Dichtbij het station.

Er stond een ventilator op de kamer, ondanks dat erg warm (29 graden). 1 raam kon maar een klein stukje open.

5 / 10·May 2026

De locatie

Warm, geen airco en de ramen kunnen niet open. Communicatie erg lastig, alleen in het engels en alles via mail of app.
