Sad and disappointed

It was decently clean,

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing and unsettling stays I’ve ever experienced. The building itself is in very poor condition, and the surrounding area feels neglected — more like a makeshift yard than a proper guest space. The apartment's windows face directly onto a noisy street, making it impossible to open the louvers for daylight or privacy. As a result, the apartment stayed dark and stuffy throughout the day, and hot at night, since opening windows wasn’t an option due to loud traffic. There was no internet, not enough towels, and basic kitchen items were missing (not even a frying pan). I’ve stayed in more modest places before and had perfectly fine experiences — at least I knew what to expect. Here, however, the gap between the listing and reality was striking. What made the experience worse were the owners’ behavior. From the very beginning, they pressured us to leave a perfect 10/10 rating, and later began nitpicking and accusing us of things that felt irrational. We were charged for a dirty towel (which had been used on the shower floor, as there were no proper bath mats), and even blamed for a missing fork, which we never saw or touched. The owner also sent us offensive messages, mocking us and calling us hustlers. The communication felt hostile and aggressive — not what anyone should expect when renting accommodation. The whole situation felt accusatory and unprofessional, as if we were being set up to be penalized. In short: this place feels sad, neglected, and uncomfortable, and the atmosphere created by the owners makes it even worse. I would not recommend staying here — but if you do, be prepared for a lack of basics, lack of peace, and unpredictable accusations.
