In a quiet location, away from traffic, our modestly sized hotel and inn has evolved over more than 200 years—a place where you can still enjoy a personal connection with the host family. Our restaurant is open to hotel guests and registered groups (including small groups). We’d be happy to help make your family celebration, seminar, or company or club outing a success. Our contribution to environmental protection: We generate about 60% of the electricity we consume ourselves through our photovoltaic system. The entire building is thermally insulated, and heat recovery from the cooling systems provides (almost entirely) the hot water. Since May 2014, an air-to-air heat pump has been providing environmentally friendly heating energy. With our guest card, you can use all bus and train lines in the Black Forest free of charge, and enjoy extended access to the mountain railway as well as the Palais Thermal and Vital Therme as often as you’d like. The X78 bus line between Bad Wildbad and Freudenstadt runs hourly in both directions daily from 5:00 a.m. to midnight. The stop closest to us is called Sprollenhaus Schule.

All rooms are in a very quiet location, mostly facing south or southwest. They are bright, sunny rooms, most of which are accessible by elevator.
