The inn at roses landing was so comfortable and an easy walk to the kayak rental location for the witches paddle in Morro Bay. Their restaurant was very convenient and had a great drink and bar menu. All of the staff: restaurant, front desk and cleaning were warm, welcoming and efficient. Watching the sunset from the upper deck, bar or restaurant was a perfect end to the days.

Not only were the views of the bay and Morrow Rock stunning, I was blown away at how clean and well kept our room was. It was truly a beautiful space and the amenities were perfect. Our patio with the fire pit was just perfect and we loved how you could walk out onto the landing, that adjoined the other (3) room's patios on that side of the building, and just hang out and enjoy the views. We will definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect. We treated ourselves and my brother and SIL to a night here as we passed through town on our way to San Francisco. The hotel was a wonderful find! Great views, right on the harbor. Clean and comfy rooms. But the highlight was a wonderful private patio that was part of my brother's room. It has it's own firepit on the patio, and a nice view. I only wish we'd known about the sauna and "dunking tub" just steps away. We hadn't brought swim suits, otherwise we'd have used that too. We definitely want to come back here and spend several nights enjoying this lovely little hotel.
I was initially alarmed that a very short time before we arrived in Morro Bay (we were driving up) I received a notice that due to "staffing issues" their lobby would close at 4PM, about half an hour before we were set to arrive. So no one was to be there to check us in. I was told I would receive a message with instructions for our arrival, however it took them a very long time to send the info. I called back a few times, as I was concerned that we'd get there without any idea what to do. They turned off the phone before I received the instructions message, so I was a little panicked. But it all worked out and we were able to check in ok. However, I had to call back the "night manager" at her home to find out how to get the promised bottle of wine and chocolates that are supposed to be in the rooms, but were not. We were given instructions for retrieving those things at the lobby, which was fine. It all ended well, but the uncertainty of a last minute major change in the arrival process was not a good feeling. We never saw any staff at the lobby, even the next morning, until we checked out. Everything ended up being wonderful at the hotel, but it was just a little disconcerting that we never saw any actual staff there.

We had a broken light bulb in the sitting area of the room. I had to do finish up work for my employer, since there was a broken bulb, well there was hardly any light and my wife was asleep. The base of the bulb was broken and in the light fixture—very dangerous.
The darn TV! We couldn’t access Netflix or any other apps that we pay for. There was nothing on the programmed TV that we liked. We wanted very much to watch a good movie and eat some snacks and just have a cozy night—but we didn’t.
