Not going back

It was clean

We didn’t like the fact that the apartment we booked it was right next to the owners house and it was very uncomfortable, u could literally hear them cause it was in their yard as well Yesterday it was a big holiday in Cyprus which we understand but the fact that it was 9AM and they were loud voices and screams, meanwhile people come there to relax and sleep a bit more than usual since we wake up very early for work everyday They should mention that the studio is attached to their house cause this is very uncomfortable Yes i agree the location is good but still if you are going to host a party cause I UNDERSTAND it’s your house just let your guests know that We travel a lot and we booked several hotel and apartments etc but this time i am disappointed

Small and dingy

It was a place to leave our things while we explored the beautiful Troodos Mountains. The parking was good. The airconditioning worked. The cooker, kettle, and fridge worked.

The studio is dark and poorly laid out. I felt stressed when I was there. The studio is only suitable for single people or married couples as there is nowhere to get dressed/undressed other than in the living/dining/bedroom. The bathroom was so small it was not possible to dress or undress in there before or after showering. If the bathroom had been built at the back of the unit it could have been made a bit bigger, and if the kitchen was installed straight along the side wall it would have been possible to have a large window to put more light into the sleeping and sitting area. As it was the bathroom and kitchen kept the light out of the sleeping and sitting area and it felt dingy and cramped. The photos on booking.com did not make to clear which unit was being featured, consequently I thought there was a washing machine in the unit, this lead me to book the unit in the first place as I am on a five week journey, and I thought it would be an opportunity to get some proper washing done. however there was no washing machine. When I sent a message questioning this to the hosts via booking.com I was just told not to ask them questions and my question was not answered, I thought this was very rude. I stayed at the studio with my adult son, and as I said above it was really unsuitable. I have seen previous reviews criticising the cleanliness of the unit, and in line with those I did find hair in the shower from the previous occupants, and the kitchen sponge was filthy. Other than that it was OK. I was expecting the unit to be an easy walk away from Platres by off road route, however the footpaths were cut off by roadworks, and the only way in on foot was by walking along the road which had no street lamps, so was not possible in the evening. Luckily we had a hire car so could drive in.

Apartment is very spacious, in a very quiet area. Kitchen is perfectly and fully equipped, bed is very comfortable, nice parking place and earlier check in was possible. Nice doors leading to the outside terrace. Very easy check in.

We did not receive 3rd set of sheets, although we were 3 people using also sopha. There were tiles ok the floor which I personally don't like because I get very cold immediately.

A short drive to the town, there are a few restaurants in the area. Really convenient for hikers. Trails are not too far from the room. Room was very clean. Shower and hot water were very good.

Small, should be used for solo travelers only. Bed was okay. Not much in the area. Would have taken the bigger room next store with more windows.
