Worse place in Gran canaria

⭐☆☆☆☆ My stay in this at at this flat was extremely disappointing and, unfortunately, one of the worst accommodation experiences I have had in many years of travel. The first issue was cleanliness. The apartment did not feel properly maintained and was noticeably below the standard presented in the Booking.com photos. The reality is very different from what is advertised online, creating expectations that are simply not met upon arrival. Sleeping comfortably was almost impossible. The so-called blackout curtains are completely ineffective. By around 5:00 AM, the bedroom is already flooded with daylight, making it extremely difficult to get proper rest. Anyone hoping for a good night’s sleep during their holiday should be aware of this problem. The bedding was also among the worst I have experienced. The sheets were rough and uncomfortable against the skin, feeling more like an exfoliating scrub treatment than proper hotel bedding. The pillows were equally unpleasant, uncomfortable and carried an unpleasant smell. This trip was especially important because it was part of my honeymoon. I specifically requested a double bed in advance, but upon arrival I found only two single beds. The only solution offered was to push the beds together. Anyone who has stayed in hotels regularly knows this is not the same as having a proper double bed and it significantly affected an important trip for my husband and me. The staff’s attitude was perhaps the most disappointing aspect of the entire experience. Rather than feeling welcomed, I was made to feel like an inconvenience. Communication was often abrupt, unfriendly and lacking basic hospitality. One particularly unpleasant incident involved the owner. She came to my door and shouted at me because I had not completed a form that she said was required. However, I had already provided a copy of my passport, so I genuinely believed all the necessary documentation had been submitted.

Nice apartment shame about the livingroom furniture

Living room furniture dates and not comfortable was disappointing , couldn’t get Netflix as you had to have a Samsung account so wasn’t happy

Holiday spoilt, no empathy shown

Apartment ideal, clean well furbished, good size, nice touch with welcome gifts, bottle of wine, bottle of water in fridge, other small starter gifts nice balcony view over area.

Apartment owners became unfriendly vigilante like group, I felt unsafe and intimidated.. Canary flat staff made situation far worse, I was told by one staff that they owned the building was not! Reception staff male extremely rude didn't give a flying fig, I made a mistake through medical condition, flat 219 ceiling came very wet, Canary flats accommodated to help which they did, I was remindered by Canary flats often that they did this when I was asking for updates which I seldom got, they ignored me a great deal..made me feel it was all my fault, I offered to pay for damage i was told no insurance ok..but still residents subjected me to intimidation and vile abuse because of the damage so many got involved which almost lead to violence..Canary flat staff put notice on 318 door which made the situation far worse, I was given every excuse with no resolution, always every excuse you could think of, no reply from owner after 9 days no solution from Canary staff, only bull shit, when I expressed my views I more or less told I was unfair, so nothing done , no refund offered, two of the ladies from Canary flats where good Ari and another lady who's name I can remember, when I spoke to Daniel all I got was excuse 'I'm busy checking people in, said only give me 1 minute, then lied to get rid of me' shouldn't be dealing with people in this type of work, did not receive any reply from Kristina when I told her this, only she wanted me to leave an excellent review based on one thing they did , but failed in so so many other areas, I will not return to Gran Canaria at all ever again...Kristina tried to fake me to leave a good review I told her I will give my opinion which Kristina did not like, holiday spoilt because lack of back bone by CANARY FLAT company...
