The location of the hotel is really great and near the port for activities. The staff were very friendly. WiFi is slow but working from time to time. The rooms were clean the pool looked nice but we didn't swim.
The shower area floor becomes very wet after you shower because the glass door sealing is not great, water seeps through. So, be careful as floor can become slippery afterwards. The bathrooms have bidets yay!

Akatara has nice pool, good size room, with fridge. Airconditioning works well. Small safe in room and Google TV. Good access to restaurants and dive shops. Breakfast was very good and staff lovely.
As its on the main street it can be noisy with loud music from neighbouring restaurants and bars and early morning prayer calls from the nearby Mosque.

Near to jetty, few restaurants and convinient stores nearby. Big room
Air con is not cold enough despite setting lowest temperature.

Very close to the port, walking distance! Bed was comfortable.
Super dirty! The floor was filled with stains, one of my towels was filled with stains that looked like blood, mosquitoes everywhere (more mosquitoes in the room than I encountered through my whole trip).
I only stayed for 2 nights - I flagged about the towel the next day, but didn't bother complaining on first day as staff on check in was not the most friendly (very unusual for Indonesia).
