Would not stay again!

The property was lovely and clean and well equipped. It was great that the WiFi was included. The kitchen had everything you needed and was well presented. I had a lovely little back garden.

We had no heating for the two nights we stayed. I kept in contact with the owner but nothing was done to rectify the problem. As it has now got colder we really wasn’t happy and were very cold. As they still had summer quilts on I had to sleep in my oodie. Also the water upstairs was hit and miss. It does say when booking that the water pressure isn’t good and to make sure that all taps are turned off which is exactly what we did. Nobody use the toilets or taps while my daughter was in the shower. She was in the middle of a shower and the water just completely cut off and was off for about five minutes. It eventually came back on. The next morning I got up and went to the bathroom. Bearing in mind nobody has touch the taps during night. We had absolutely no water either from the bath or the sink taps. This is a major problem the owner needs to look into. It really is not on, that we did not get our the basic needs ie: water and heating. Also, the front door is a little awkward to lock from outside. You really have to pull it to be able to pull the handle up. So obviously this needs looking into too. I wouldn’t have ordinarily mentioned the front door as it’s only a small thing, but together with the other two issues it becomes a big thing. During my whole stay, I had spoken to the owner a few times and made him aware of all these problems. Nothing was done to rectify any of it and no compensation was offered. I do not expect to pay money out renting a property and have no heating or water. I just happen to see one of the neighbours. They weren’t aware of any water pressure problems so this is obviously a problem within this property. I would not stay here again!
