I stayed with 2 friends in the apartment on Madeira. Before our arrival the host, Jennyfer, contacted us through the booking.com messaging system informing us about our arrival. Our requested early check-in was arranged and we got a message that we could enter at any time convenient for us by picking up the keys at a predetermined location. All communication was done through the booking.com messaging system in clear and detailed english text. Jennyfer also included various suggestions for food and places worthwhile visiting and offered to assist us in case we needed anything to make our stay more enjoyable. The apartment itself was clean and well functioning with even the sleeping couch being prepared and made as our third sleeping bed upon our arrival. The balcony gave a great view over the ocean. Parking was possible for free close to the apartment in public parking spots, on a few occasions spots were a bit limited, but we always managed to find something within reasonable walking distance. During our stay, one afternoon, the WIFI malfunctioned. We were quickly informed (without us even asking) that it was due to a local outage on the island and Jennyfer apologized for the inconvenience it might have caused, showing that she cared about the guests. At the end of our stay, leaving was just as easy as entering and a day later we even got a message from Jennyfer showing appreciation for the state in which we left the apartment.
The lamp on the balcony was not installed, in order to get sufficient light to enjoy an evening on the balcony after sunset we needed to turn on the interior lights and shut the glass balcony doors to prevent any insects from coming into the apartment. It was manageable but it would have been more convenient if there was a functioning light on the balcony.
Secondly, the facilities for cooking a larger meal was limited. There was no oven and the gas stove top only had 2 spots. Luckily there were plenty of good restaurants in the area within walking distance that served excellent food for reasonable prices.

L’hôte était très gentille. Elle nous a permis de déposer nos bagages avant l’heure du Check in. L’appartement était très bien équipée. On avait une belle vue. L’hôte était très réactive quand on avait besoin de quelque chose .

Всё было супер,чистота,удобства,было абсолютно всё в квартире. Не пришлось брать с собой такие мелочи как пакеты для мусора и прочее. Кажется там где я живу сейчас нет столько всего,сколько было там где я остановился для отдыха😅
Не хватало вывески с названием,так как сложно было объяснить такси куда ехать.

Location was nice.
In my opinion the owner should invest some money into the apartment, you can see that everything is old and used not in right condition. I don’t mind old furniture but I do mind used old stuff. The pans are all scratched in the kitchen. It was pretty noisy from the apartments upstairs. It was not so clean unfortunately
