Quiet location on the edge of the village. Well-placed for what we wanted. Easy access to both Wensleydale and over into Wharfedale. Comprehensive details about the property sent in advance and very responsive host. Comfy rooms. Well-equipped kitchen. Good WiFi. Pub a 10-minute walk away with good food.
Nothing that we didn’t like, but just be aware of the ceiling height in the loft en-suite toilet to avoid bumped heads….And if you struggle with stairs, access may be tricky.

Wonderful location. Great walking close by. Pub within walking distance for food and dog friendly too. Well equipped. Helpful check in information.

Lovely cosy cottage with views of the river and surrounding hills. We had most things that we needed to cook a meal etc and there was an off road parking space which was great.
Unfortunately downstairs in the lounge and hall it smelt very strongly of dogs. We went round with a vacuum cleaner and opened the windows every morning but the smell lingered in spite of this, so eventually we bought some 'Shake 'n' Vac' and after a couple of goes it did improve things. Some of the kitchen plates/pans were greasy and had not been washed before the previous occupants put them away, so we had to clean those before using them. The door handle/key was a bit of a struggle to open and could perhaps do with a bit of attention.
Otherwise, everything was perfect.
