Not for me or for someone with great taste!

It looked safe and it was clean!

Where should I start? This stay felt like a novel from beginning to end. On the map, the apartment appears to be close to the ferry port, but don't be fooled—it isn't an easy walk with luggage. You'll either need to take a taxi or roll your luggage to a public elevator that takes you to the upper part of the city, and then continue walking to the property. When we arrived, we were instructed to leave our luggage at Leone Restaurant next door until check-in. Unfortunately, the gentleman there did not seem happy about the arrangement. After some back and forth with my husband, he finally agreed to keep our luggage. The host was aware of the situation, but it was clear that the restaurant staff was not very comfortable with this agreement. Once we checked in, the host showed us the apartment, collected the city tax, handed over the keys, and emphasized the 10:00 a.m. checkout time. Considering that check-in wasn't particularly early, the strict checkout policy felt unnecessarily rigid. The apartment itself was disappointing in several ways. The refrigerator did not have a freezer compartment, so there was no way to make ice. The coffee maker was a traditional Italian and we had to buy coffee ourselves. For the price of the stay, I expected at least a Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee capsules—a small touch that would have made a big difference. I could not figure it out how the range worked- it never did! The bathroom amenities were also underwhelming. Instead of quality travel-size toiletries, there was a large bottle of combined shampoo and body wash that looked very inexpensive, which took away from the overall experience. Finally, the balcony views were far from what I expected. They overlooked older residential houses with people in underwear, basically not particularly proper, so I never even used the balcony during my stay. Overall, this property did not meet my expectations for the price paid, and charged me very early.
