Totally disappointing

It was on the ground floor.

Unfortunately, this property did not meet our expectations or align fully with the description on Booking.com. Firstly, there is no 24-hour desk. It’s a converted apartment with a lockbox. After an 8+ hour drive during the holiday season, this was meant to be a treat for me and my partner as I’m 27 weeks pregnant and we wanted something nice for this last pre-baby trip. When we arrived in the evening, we discovered that the wrong code for the lockbox was sent to us and that it was a single converted apartment with no front desk. After trying to call and message the hosts many times with no answer, we called Booking.com, who also could not get in touch with them. I had to wee so badly by then (at 9pm on a Monday night with nothing open nearby!) that I had to go behind a tree in a nearby car park. After over an hour, the hosts got in touch with the correct code. The main reason we booked this place was the jacuzzi, which was large and spacious, but sadly, despite running only hot water and following the instructions left on the wall, we could only get it lukewarm at best. (Maybe the hot water in the building had finished by then?!) Because it’s a converted flat, there are dehumidifiers to deal with the excess moisture from the jacuzzi, but the shower room also still stank of mold/damp. The decor is very, very kitsch and clearly the place is designed with erotic parties in mind. In the end, it was a giant waste of money that would’ve been better spent elsewhere for us.

Exceptional

The apartment was exactly as per the photos; it was clean and had a lovely feel about it. It felt like it had been recently furnished with good taste. Good quality towels, coffee machine etc. Communication regarding access was good and access was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

I don't think there was anything we didn't like!

Week-end exceptionnel

Endroit calme et dépaysant. Les photos sont conformes. La propreté irréprochable. Un lit exceptionnel et confortable. Des volets dans la chambre, un véritable atout.
